HOW DO I PLAN A HEN DO?

Whilst you will no doubt want to take a few group factors into consideration – (age of group, general budget, distance to travel etc) keep in mind that the larger the group, the harder it is to please everyone entirely, but the one person that you do want to have an utterly amazing time is the hen or stag! Focus on them and what you know they will enjoy. A great idea is to split the day into afternoon and evening sessions so that people have a choice about which parts of the hen or stag do to attend. Honestly, if the bride to be is having the time of her life (Dirty Dancing party anyone?) then Sharon has absolutely no excuse for having a face like a wet weekend.

WHY SHOULD I BOOK WITH MADAME PEACHES?

We’re really nice 🙂 In the office, we have Justine (me!), Mel, Sarah & Eleanor.  We understand that it’s a big responsibility to arrange a hen do and we want to make things as easy as possible for you. This shouldn’t be like applying for a mortgage and no one should be crying because they don’t understand what’s going on.  There really  is no such thing as a stupid question & we don’t mind if you need to ask the same question/s multiple times.  We’re the experts and we’re here to make it easy for you. When you’re ready to confirm, we take just a £50 deposit to secure your party & then stay in touch throughout.  You can change your numbers up to a month before when your balance payment is due, so don’t worry if flaky Susan needs to pull out at the 11th hour. We’ll email you the week before your party to re-confirm the details & we’re always on call every weekend should you need us. We have fantastic teachers and models who absolutely LOVE the work they do & a brilliant office team to plan it all.

WHERE WILL MY PARTY TAKE PLACE?

We book your venue for you.  Depending on location, group size and choice of class– this could be a bar, club, gym, hall, dance studio, art cafe or hotel.  We have lots of fab, tried and tested venues and once a booking has been made with us, we will work through in date order to allocate you your perfect venue! If you have any particular requests, such as disabled access or a certain area of town – please let us know.  Sometimes we can arrange to travel to you – just ask us about it.

WHEN WILL I KNOW MY VENUE?

We generally work in date order to assign venues for classes & ensure you have this info a month before your party.  Often this is much sooner, as (If I say so myself – we’re a pretty organised bunch) Our venues are always central in the city you’re booking for.  If you have 10 minutes to get to cocktail making after your class & you’ve no faith that Sandra can keep pace with the group – let us know & we’ll do our best to book you into a venue as close to the cocktails as possible.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Ladies are positively encouraged to dress up in the style of the party! Great fun, great for the photos and great for getting noticed out on the town! Just make sure that for dance classes, your clothes are comfortable enough to move in. Some of our venues do not allow heels/outdoor shoes & we will let you know when this is the case. Some venues do not allow rude props (I’m talking to you Margaret. Put. The. Inflatible. Penis. Down.)
